Each of us is born with 

ways of communicating telepathically with one another across the world and across the galaxy.

We are addicted to screens 

Because they somewhat simulate the Mental Screens we are born with -

They are cheap plastic knockoffs of the original technology. 

We are addicted to noise, to talking, to music

Because it somewhat stimulates our original Telepathic abilities
